Heroes of Clay is a documentary and honorific book regarding traditional potters in the village of Agost, Spain. Up to nine generations of potters can be found in Agost. Currently there are few professional potters left due to generational relief and a loss of need. 

Over 40 years ago, Agost as other potter villages in Spain, had over 25 factories working simultaneously and exporting around the world.

Currently there is only one and around five individual studio potters.
